Terms & Conditions

As a customer of Max Mobility Equipment, by taking or being issued our stock you agree to the below terms & conditions as compliant with the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (CCA).
1. Hire equipment remains the property of Max Mobility Equipment.

2. Equipment is to be returned to Max Mobility Equipment cleaned and in good working order. Any damage sustained or cleaning required for hire items will be paid for by the customer. Max Mobility reserves the right to add this cost onto the customer’s account if necessary.

3. The customer agrees to have hire fees accumulate on their account until effective communication regarding collection or return is made to Max Mobility Equipment. Failure to do this until a later date will not result in a deduction of fees.

4. The customer is responsible for communicating with Max Mobility about any problems, issues or concerns that arise immediately. Failure to do this until a later date will negatively affect the legitimacy of a customer’s claim.

5. All accounts must be finalized upon return of equipment. Under no circumstance will Max Mobility extend invoicing terms to customers without prior arrangement.

6. Hire equipment that is returned in an unsatisfactory condition may be subject to cleaning fees (see 2. above).Max Mobility Equipment reserves the right to refuse receipt of unsanitary or unclean hire items.

7. Hire equipment is charged at a weekly rate, and will attract an additional week charge if the hire has extended 2 or more days into a week.

8. If hire equipment is returned prior to the time that was paid in advance, Max Mobility can only refund full weeks and not part thereof.

9. Under no circumstances can delivery, collection or maintenance & service charges be refunded.

10. Equipment will incur a delivery or collection fee each time Max Mobility is requested to perform this service by the customer.

11. Equipment that its returned same day, or day after delivery, will incur the minimum charge of 1 week’s hire per item plus delivery and collection (if applicable) to cover administration and cleaning.

12. Purchase items cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged after 7 days. Max Mobility will not engage in buying back stock in any situation.

13. Unique items that are ordered in for a customer cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged.

14. Ex-Hire equipment that is purchased cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged and will not come with any type of warranty.

15. Failure to make contact with Max Mobility Equipment may result in hire items being charged as purchase items.

16. Neither Max Mobility nor any of its employees, contractors or agents will be liable in any way for any injury or loss, including death, which may occur to any person including the hirer as a result of the misuse of the hired equipment.

17. It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that they fully understand the instructions and information provided by Max Mobility and the manufacturer regarding the proper use and function of the hire equipment, and to seek clarification where further information or instruction is required.

18. Max Mobility is not responsible for any damage that occurs through normal use, incorrect use or transportation by customers of equipment to homes, floors, walls, or interior/exterior of cars.
